Bringing her clients peace of mind and taking the burden of financial planning off their shoulders is what makes Tammy so passionate about her work. In her financial planning work, Tammy puts her clients’ best interests first and uses her expansive background and approachable, understanding character to get to know her clients on a personal level so she can help them make the choices that fit for what they desire.

Tammy founded TPO Financial & Insurance Services in 2005 to make a real impact on the lives of fellow business owners, professionals and their families. As a Certified Financial Planner™ in Berkeley, California, Tammy assists her clients with financial planning, insurance planning, investment planning, and retirement preparation. With a strong ability to focus on the big picture, Tammy creates comprehensive plans for each individual while demonstrating her genuine care for their financial future.

Over the years Tammy has expanded the team to provide excellent service and maintain authentic connections to her clients. As she brings her oldest daughter, Ella, into the business, she is focused on bridging these relationships far into the future.

If you’ve called our office, you have probably spoken with Karen. She assists our clients and helps with servicing our insurance and financial products. Karen finds true fulfillment in her work from the interaction she gets to have with the company’s clients. Karen has been with the company for over 7 years and in the financial services industry for over 31 years. In her free time, she loves to spend time with family and friends while enjoying bowling, painting, fishing, doing puzzles and traveling. She is a true Warriors, A’s, and Raiders fan.

With over 10 years of administrative and client relationship experience in the financial services and insurance industry, Ariona joined TPO Financial in 2021 to support all facets of the company, performing a variety of duties. Ariona is passionate about excellent customer service and enjoys helping our clients with their service needs.

Living in Washington State, Ariona joins our team remotely. Her excellent skills in technology help keep our office running smoothly, and efficiently.

In her free time Ariona enjoys hiking, traveling, painting and spending time with her family and friends.

A native of Alaska, Meagan is currently residing and working remotely in Northern California. With over five years of customer service experience, Meagan joined the TPO Financial Team in 2023 and supports service and new account set up.

Meagan has an Associate’s Degree in Hospitality. She is passionate about providing excellent customer service and enjoys connecting with clients when they call for help.

Meagan enjoys outdoor activities with her two dogs, road trips, skiing, and spending time with friends and family.

Ella joined TPO Financial & Insurance Services formally in 2024 but as Tammy’s oldest daughter, she grew up around this industry. She is learning the various aspects of the firm, by supporting both the Advisers and the Administrative team. Ella is a recent graduate of the University of California, Berkeley with a B.A. in Global Studies. As part of her university studies, she spent a year studying at The London School of Economics and Political Science. She is excited to connect with our clients and fully delve into the world of personal finance.

When she isn’t working, Ella is seeking the next adventure. In between graduating college and joining TPO Financial, Ella solo-traveled in Japan for 6 weeks. She enjoys hiking, yoga, and spending time with her friends and family.
